In some cases, that \u201cfree\u201d diagnostic actually comes with a 2-hour minimum labour charge, even if the repair only needs 15 minutes. In other cases, costs for parts or labour are just plain inflated. One company we\u2019ve heard about makes an assessment for free, but then charges $160 to actually tell you what it is and how much it will cost to fix!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not how we like to do things. We would rather tell you the real cost of sending a fully trained, qualified technician to your door, plus the time they need to look at the situation and walk you through the options.<\/p>\n
