Unfortunately, funding sources can be few and far between when it comes to trying to secure new educational tools. One school, Copperfield Elementary, was having such problems.<\/p>\n<p>Knight\u2019s Heating and Plumbing made a $5,000 donation in May to Copperfield Elementary School, which was in need of a little help. When we learned that, we didn\u2019t hesitate to jump into action.<\/p>\n<h2>The Donations<\/h2>\n<p>The donations that Knight made to Copperfield was divided among three important projects for the school.<\/p>\n<h3>Planters<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/knightplumbing.ca\/blog\/knight-donates-help-elementary-school-kids-learn-food\/\">The first part of the donation took the form of planters and seeds<\/a>, something Knight\u2019s Vice President, Ryan, is very passionate about. \u201cMy boys love the garden and seeing plants grow, so we thought this would be a great kick start.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the remainder of the donation funds, the school came to me with 5 more options, and I chose the reading books and chimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3144 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/knightplumbing.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Knight_Donates_to_Copperfield_Elementary_Kids_Together.jpg\" alt=\"Ryan Wandler, Bernie Wandler, and kids of Copperfield Elementary\" width=\"700\" height=\"443\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Books<\/h3>\n<p>Knight was able to provide the students at Copperfield with brand new science textbooks, which they students were reportedly thrilled with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA wise man (my dad) one time told me education and understanding are the keys to all future sucessess,\u201d Ryan said when speaking with one of the grateful teachers. That is why donating books was a no-brainer.<\/p>\n<p>The students at Copperfield Elementary extended a heartfelt thanks to Ryan and the rest of Knight.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3259\" src=\"https:\/\/knightplumbing.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Thank-You-Knight-Plumbing-3.jpg\" alt=\"thank-you-knight\" width=\"697\" height=\"449\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Chimes<\/h3>\n<p>Across the country, music in schools is the program that will often take a hit when it comes to funding. For Knight, providing some additional supplies for Copperfield\u2019s music class was a priority. Knight\u2019s founder and Ryan\u2019s grandfather, Tony Hinger, was a great music lover and the musical donation was given in his honour.<\/p>\n<p>Knight was able to give the music class some much-needed tone chimes, exciting the students with endless musical possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know thousands of children will benefit from having these tone chimes for years to come,\u201d said one of Copperfield\u2019s teachers.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3251\" src=\"https:\/\/knightplumbing.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/knight-donates-tone-chimes-final.jpg\" alt=\"knight-donates-tone-chimes-final\" width=\"700\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>It Feels Good to Do Good<\/h3>\n<p>Knight is no stranger to <a href=\"https:\/\/knightplumbing.ca\/us\/community\/\">giving back to the community<\/a>. We support a number of charities, and make numerous donations similar to the one made to Copperfield.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve got to say it felt energizing to see them use the tools that Knight Plumbing had donated! It\u2019s really awesome when you walk into the school months later and they still recognize you and thank you for the donated items,\u201d Ryan said.<\/p>\n<p>It was such a good experience, we can hardly wait to do more next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students at Copperfield Elementary School were the recipients of a sizable donation from Knight\u2019s Heating and Plumbing.
