Specific qualifications for the Outside Sales Advisor position include

  • Post-secondary education in business OR marketing (an asset)

  • Basic PC computer proficiency
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings and some weekends
  • Prior experience in HVAC is not required

Responsibilities

As an Outside Sales Advisor you will be rewarded daily, the selling cycle is shorter and you will be talking directly to the decision makers, not the gate-keepers. You will have full control of your earnings, and many earn upwards of $100,000 – $150,000 in their first year!

Your specific duties as an Outside Sales Advisor will include

  • Engaging new, current and previous customers with solutions for their home comfort needs
  • Helping homeowners save money on utilities and future repairs
  • Conduct follow up calls to ensure 100% satisfaction and generate a referral base
  • Attaining sales goals at or above quota revenues

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards
  • Follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures
  • Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all various HVAC options
  • Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
  • Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle

Education / Experience / Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC installation experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless water heaters
  • Valid Gas Fitter/Refrigeration License
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Clear criminal record
  • Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
  • An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements

Job Description

You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Key Sub Tasks

  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Join the on-call rotation (Only during weekends).
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional residential service experience and expertise.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing & servicing residential units.
  • A valid driver’s license with a suitable driving abstract as our service techs are required to drive company service vehicles to all customer locations.
  • Willing to provide us with a successful criminal background clearance as well as a clear drug test.
  • Must be able to provide own tools.
  • Must be able and willing to hold a professional attitude and maintain a clean personal appearance at all times.
